Edmonds Wellness Clinic is seeking a full-time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our integrative medical team in Edmonds, Washington. This position is designed for an LMT who is comfortable providing therapeutic and medical massage in a clinical setting and working with insurance, personal injury, PIP, and self-pay patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional, patient-centered therapeutic massage within the scope of a Washington State Massage Therapist license
- Review referrals and relevant clinical information and tailor treatment to each patient's documented needs
- Complete accurate and timely SOAP notes and other documentation required for insurance billing
- Communicate professionally with providers, front-desk staff, and the billing team
- Follow clinic policies for patient privacy, professional boundaries, sanitation, room turnover, and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment space
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Washington State Massage Therapist license
- Individual NPI and a current, fully attested CAQH profile
- Current professional liability insurance
- Ability to complete timely, accurate SOAP documentation
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Dependable attendance and ability to work collaboratively in a medical clinic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with medical massage and insurance billing
- Current or prior credentialing or billing experience with Kaiser Permanente or WholeHealth Networks, Premera Blue Cross, and Regence BlueShield
- Experience treating PIP, personal injury, or workers' compensation patients
Compensation and Support
- $40-$45 per completed 60-minute treatment session, based on insurance participation and relevant medical massage experience
- $20 per hour for separately scheduled required training, meetings, documentation, or administrative work
- Expected full-time clinical schedule of approximately 24-28 treatment hours per week, plus required documentation and room turnover time
- Paid sick leave accrues at a minimum rate of one hour for every 40 hours worked
- Clinic provides scheduling, front-desk support, insurance billing support, treatment room, linens, and standard supplies
Final network participation and billing eligibility at Edmonds Wellness Clinic are subject to payer approval and the applicable effective date.
